Quinceaneras are a fun, coming of age celebration, tradionally held in the Latin American culture. The Quinceañera, or Quince años ("fifteen years"), is a coming of age ceremony and celebration held on a girl's fifteenth birthday.

Bar or Bat Mitzvah celebrations are a coming of age for boys or girls in Judaism. The term is mainly used for the service that is held on the Sabbath, however many people use it to refer to the party that is usually held afterwards.
